After a year 2023 synonymous with renewal and innovation, our teams have embarked on a year 2024 just as rich in projects and successes. All their actions have been guided by a common goal: to make your health our priority.

BIONEXT 2024 retrospective

Over the past year, you have been able to follow the major projects of the BIONEXT laboratory in Luxembourg. Here are just a few examples:

+ services for our patients

BIONEXT continued to strengthen its presence and broaden its range of services to meet the needs of its patients and partners. Thanks to a strategy focused on innovation, proximity and flexibility, the laboratory marked a year rich in initiatives, consolidating its key role in Luxembourg's healthcare landscape. Here are the main achievements that have marked this dynamic growth:

• - Improving the flexibility and comfort of our laboratories: opening some twenty new laboratories in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, extending opening hours and renovating numerous sampling centers
• - Launch of two new LABOMOBILE vehicles, travelling from town to town and reinforcing access to healthcare
• - Setting up new partnerships with pharmacies
• - Launch of our anatomopathology department: BIONEXTPATH

+ prevention for citizens and cross-border commuters

BIONEXT has achieved significant milestones in public health and social responsibility, reinforcing its role as a player committed to the well-being of the community. Through innovative initiatives and strategic collaborations, the laboratory continued to promote accessibility to care, prevention and awareness of major health issues. Here is an overview of the year's key achievements:

• - Accelerating the digitization of the patient pathway, making us the only laboratory in Luxembourg capable of calculating your out-of-pocket expenses before your examinations, so that we can provide you with even better information
• - Our partnership with DKV Luxembourg has been strengthened, improving our range of cover: more examinations are now reimbursed by your complementary health insurance (e.g. endometriosis diagnostic test (ENDOTEST®), anatomopathology examinations, etc.)
• - By winning a major tender in Luxembourg, BIONEXT becomes the national reference laboratory for the Organized Colorectal Cancer Screening Program
• - Raising awareness of several health campaigns: cervical cancer prevention (green June), breast cancer screening (pink October), men's health awareness (movember), etc.
• - BIONEXT's participation in the two 2024 European Testing Week campaigns, during which our centers and LABOMOBILE provided free screening for sexually transmitted infections

+ proximity to healthcare professionals

BIONEXT strengthened its presence at events dedicated to healthcare professionals and the general public, demonstrating its commitment to sharing its expertise and promoting the attractiveness of its professions. Through conferences, trade shows and meetings, the laboratory has created opportunities for enriching exchanges and laid the foundations for fruitful collaborations. Here's an overview of this year's highlights:

• - Organization and moderation of a conference on autoimmunity for healthcare professionals, with Pr René-Louis HUMBEL and Dr Vanessa LAPIERRE from the Centre Hospitalier du Luxembourg
• - Participation in events dedicated to healthcare professionals: Alformec, General Meeting of the Association of Doctors and Dentists, etc.
• - Participation in several recruitment and career fairs: Moovijob Week Santé/Soins/Social, JOBDAY young graduates, JOBDAG/JOBDAY across the country, etc.

+ involvement in associations and charities

BIONEXT continued its commitment to causes close to its heart, becoming actively involved in local associations and charitable initiatives. By putting its resources, expertise and the energy of its employees at the service of solidarity projects, the laboratory has contributed to supporting concrete actions in favor of the health and well-being of the most vulnerable. Here is an overview of the highlights of these commitments:

• - Partnership with the Cycling For Health solidarity ride, actively supporting the fight against cancer
• - Participation of our employees and support of BIONEXT in the 7th edition of the LËTZ GO GOLD solidarity race, organized by the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner, to support research into pediatric cancers
• - Sponsorship of several associations and charities

Diagnosis of a successful year

In 2024, BIONEXT reaffirmed its vision of accessible, innovative and humane healthcare. Far from limiting itself to a simple provider of medical analyses, the laboratory is strengthening its position as a major player in Luxembourg's healthcare system, putting its expertise at the service of patients (resident or cross-border), professionals and the community.

All our achievements are proof of our daily commitment to being as close as possible to what is needed, whether it's facilitating access to care, educating people about the importance of screening, or supporting causes that resonate with our values. With concrete projects and actions in the field, BIONEXT demonstrates that innovation and humanity go hand in hand.
